The Mokolodi Nature Reserve is not large, but it is in a very convenient place for tourists – just 10 km from the capital of Botswana, the city of Gaborone. The reserve was opened in 1994; It is under the jurisdiction of the Mokolodi Wildlife Fund.
In total, the boundaries of the Mokolodi Reserve cover 30 km², which have space not only for African wildlife, but also a small artificial town of comfort and recreation – hotels and restaurants and excursion bureaus are created for tourists.
